Hi Vis Color Change Tip wrap incorporating the upper two guides with the thread color transitions positioned in the middle of the guide wraps. I fish quite a bit at night and tip wraps like this help with visability. I also fish in some pretty rough areas where equipment can walk away on you so good luck to anyone trying to walk off with this sucker. The red thread is Rayon Madeira (big mistake

Second the Pearl EX pigments/glitters a little goes a VERY long way. Add gold to your favorite clear and wipe.spray it on a black blank and you have a sweet glittery rootbeer rod blank...............They are airbrushable and very fine. They also have duotone/color shift options.

I don't know the blanks but DO know Jigmasters. Either one looks on paper like it will do the job. I would lean to the heavier rod for sharks of that size. I use an 11' rod from a different manufacturer with that weight rating and a Magged Jigmaster with 30# mono for leopard sharks and bat rays that often go well over 100#.
Believe me....those bat rays PULL

The problem with most of the hi-vis florescent paints is that they fade quickly so I would use a top coat with uv inhibitors

Sand all surfaces carefully to remove any burrs or imperfections from the manufacturing process, some auto paints require the use of a primer and that can be a problem, if your paint does not require the use of a primer coat for best results, apply the auto paint to the reel seat.............you need to use several THIN and carefully applied coats for best coverage. Hopefully the auto paint you

I for one would like to see some size B and C threads in your product line. Some flat braids for decorative wraps would b nice as well.

My experience with nearly all of the existing glow thread I have experimented with is fairly negative. Most are "fuzzy" and as noted they do now glow well when covered with a finish even when being charged with camera flash or hi-intensity flashlight.
I know quite a few serious catfish enthusiasts that would LOVE to get their hands on a thread with a glow life of an hour or so at a

Or you can switch things up a notch and do what I call a "wacky wrap" and use a black magic marker to put bands on a spool of your favorite red thread.....Old school but still an attractive alternative to the norm.
Or you can wrap with black....splice in your red thread and wrap them together, then drop out the black and finish the wrap with the red....It takes a thread carriage hat

Try this....It worked for one of my best friends when his wife was late with their second.
Buy your wife new car.....................He did, she freaked (it was a Custom PT Cruiser) and her water broke right then and there.......Instant gratification.
That was the third baby I delivered.
If you can't afford a car I am sure you can figure out SOMETHING that will make her freak in the rig

If you can find a color card for $5 I would suggest purchasing 2 and using the CP of your choice on one as a comparison guide.
The color cards are $15 anywhere local to me and that is just silly.

If the thread is Coats&Clark Trilobal.................Give it a try as per the manufacturer, it does not have lubricants.
You can get Madeira thread, which is a proven performer, from several of the board sponsors for almost the same price.
