Big spools at Jo-Anns1000m. Good price $3. Anyone have any feed back one this thread. Great color selection. Probably will stock up at EXPO. How good is the color wheel? Find myself using alot of the same colors---any help will be appreciated--Thanks Bill

Bill:
I like to stick with the regular nylon thread. I found a few spools of some kind of sewing thread and was playing around with it today and found that I got three diffrent colors from the same spool . cp- no cp- and a silver under wrap. Three totaly diffrent colors than the dry spool. Test it before you put it on a good rod blank. But it don't hurt to experment. I found a real nice brick red by doing this. ( Jim- DON'T tell what color it was !!! ) LOL.

If the thread is Coats&Clark Trilobal.................Give it a try as per the manufacturer, it does not have lubricants.

You can get Madeira thread, which is a proven performer, from several of the board sponsors for almost the same price.
