I have added a small amount to Threadmaster high build with great results. Just stir it in real well. It does not take much. I used ultra fine glitter from Michael's crafts... "Stampendous crystolescent " ultra fine. Lavender is my favorite... Test it out before you put on the finish. and again, It does not take very much...

I called the folks at Utmost and they found me an American made 10ft 3 wt two piece blank and hooked me with all ceramic guides, reel seat and cork for under $65.00. shipped to the house in Michigan. @ 10 ft, and a two piece rod, it is kind of a pain to get around, but for boat fishing for gills, it is a blast...

I agree, I bought one of the 3 piece blanks and it is a beast. Color is plum, action is traditional.

I just built a 3/4 wt, 10 foot rod on an Angler's Roost blank, and used forecast "f" guides on the whole thing. It cast line like it is shot from a cannon. Used Guides from Utmost Enterprises. # 6 #7 #8, #10 single foot guides and #12 stripper with #6 tip.

Why would he be using Lead core on a Noodle rod? Maybe a diver button, downrigger or drop weight, but lead core is like over kill. I know this is not much help, but lead core will defeat the purpose of the noodle rod..

the Batson RX8 XF662-4 travel blank is feather light, and a blast to fish. I built one this fall on a whim, and really enjoy pan-fishing with it. It is my first 2 wt. I have an Okuma 2/3 wt reel on it and used a YFLY reel seat. I used extra light wire single foot guides and no hook keeper. It really is fun to fish. It fishes up close very well, and has enough zip to reach a little further

Nearly 20 Years ago, I built a 7 1/2 foot ultra light spinning rod using a 4 wt fly-rod blank I got from Netcrafters in Toledo. It was the only rod of Its kind that I knew of back then, and I have no idea what kind of blank it was. Now-a-days, I use 3 lb fire on the rod, and it is still a blast. The blank is a two piece graphite blank, and the bend is parabolic. It was modeled after a rod
