It was a great time. Meet some really great folks, had way too much food, saw some really neat rods, (some old and some new) and made a few new friends... thanks to all the sponsors and to Don for getting the thing up and running... Re: 1st. Michigan Rods Builders Gathering

Hope this was the first of many!!!!! Personally, I'd like to see at least a couple a year. It was great and a super way of seeing other builder work and sharing info/ideas.
The great support from the industry and vendors mentioned above was SUPER and much appreciated! Mike (Southgate, MI) If I don't want to, I don't have to and nobody can make me (except my wife) cuz I'm RETIRED!! Re: 1st. Michigan Rods Builders Gathering

I am glad you all had a great time, it was a lot more work putting it together than I ever imagined when I started the project. It would not have happened without folks at the great companies listed above. I am looking forward to many more future events.
A special thanks to Mike Barkley for his work on the donation requests and taking over the leadership role at the event in my absence. PS. baby and mama are doing incredible. ______________________________________ Super Tight Lines......Don Re: 1st. Michigan Rods Builders Gathering

I`m thanking you because I may host another one soon and I may need your help. (LOL) What if we were to combine forces and have an Ohio - Mich. gathering, say down by Jann`s in Toledo? I will check with the guys and see how many would be willing to travel that far Bill Ohio Rod Builders Canton, Ohio Re: 1st. Michigan Rods Builders Gathering
