Dave, I just completed a Lamaglas, 9ft. Super Surf for myself. I used a 30mm double foot K guide as my first guide and all the rest out to the tip were single foot K L's and they all got locking wraps. So, YES you can do a locking wrap on them.

If your are sure your rods were packed correctly, I would pay the $25 shipping for the return of both rods. Then inform him that his rods are ready for pick up when repaired.Let him send a messenger for transport and assume the responsabilty for damages in transit. Let "Cash on the barrelhead" be you mission statment for future transactions.

Happy Easter Jim, I hope the Easter Bunny brought you a tweezer and a magnifier in your basket, you may need them while removing that finish. You can get that same flat finish with P G if after it cures, all you gotta do is scuff it up with a fine Scotch Brite pad. You can make it as dull as you want, from a semi gloss to complete flat by how much you buff it. A chemical peel will not remove al

Don, Sorry but, I have to ask. What do you mean when you ask, Is the reel going to be mounted high or low? Are you asking if the reel is a high or low framed reel? or Where on the butt the reel is going be mounted? I do believe your talking about a tie-wrapped or taped plate type reel seat that can be adjusted for power casting, NO?
