Hello All.
Does anyone have pictures of their systems, I am having trouble seeing some of these in my (empty?) head?
Thanks to All!

Hello James.
My favorite for pier fishing with a Got-Cha plug for blues, Spanish and what-ever is a Seeker P 704 split grip down locking with a Pflueger Arbor model 7450X using 12# - 15# braid, you can throw it a mile and bring 20# ray's if you have to.
I got a 7.5# Spanish of the old Sportsmans pier before it was torn down with this set-up.
Sorry this is a 7' rod, but I still like it.

Hello John.
Billy uses Thread Master & ProKote mixed together, I have used it and it seems to work just fine.

Hello Lee.
Have you looked at Seeker Rods?
Seeker has a good Composite line-up, and may be able to match it up for you.
There are 3 people to talk to about Seeker Billy Vivona (NERBS), Jim Upton, and Denny (can't remember his last name).
Good Luck.

Hello Lou.
Thanks Lou, I have not done a lot with TM1 including thinning it.
I was just asking how you thinned yours so I could give it a shot thinned, I did not like it thick.

Thanks Again.

Hello Lou.
I have 1 question for you.
If you add water 10~15%, how do you mix it without "stirring or shaking" the product?

Hello Keith.
First you need to answer some questions.
What do you want in a rod?(light, sensitive, responsive, or are you just in for the bling, or maybe some of both?).
The lightest most sensitive would be a bare rod.
Next would be a simple coat of Perma Gloss or LumiSeal but if you want color those two can only be shaded and not colored so you would need to paint(what type of paint(Gloss

Hello Jon.
All Epoxy ambers eventually and you are looking through 2" of it, when you put it on your rod the thickness will only be a few mils thick and you wont notice the amber, it will be fine I've been using some epoxy that is at least 8 years old and amber in the bottle but clear on the rod.
Try the MicroWave guides by American Tackle, a lot of folks on the left sell them.

Hello Mike.
I would be more worried about what you are fishing for with that rod!
If you are using it for King Mac's, those small guides may not hold up to the abuse a King Mac can put it through.
I use my 70L for Live Baiting King Mackerels off the NC Coast.
Personally I would not try Micro Guides on one, but if you do Please let us know how it holds up.
By the way, what are you usi

Hello Steve.
What about something waaayyy out of the box?
Get a sheet of 1/8" or 1/16" foam the same color of the grip and go to a seamstress and have the design embroidered on the foam then glue the foam onto the grip.
If you think that will get to dirty to fast you could put an acrylic tube over the whole thing(which defeats the whole EVA thing).
What do you think of that? F

Hello Dan.
It's Titanium, and for salt if you don't wash REALLY well EVERY trip the Titanium guides are worth it, if you do wash that well, stainless will do so-so too good.
I use Titanium on 90% of my salt builds(some wont pay for it) but 40% of those come back in 1-2 years (the other 60% got SS and it took 4-6 years) wanting me (on my dime) to replace the guides because they are starting

Hello All
What about turning the grip down in the area you are going to put the weave enough that when coated with multi coats of whatever you decide to use on it, (I'd use PG in multi coats) it is level with the rest of the grip?
