I am usually asking questions, but Scott Parsons suggested that I share the results of an experiment where I mixed equal parts of Threadmaster Lite with the regular Threadmaster.
I mixed equal parts of the Lite resin, Lite hardener, Regular resin and Regular hardener and achieved what I sought - a finish that was thinner than the regular "high build" and had longer working time than the regular would have. The thinner was better because I had less bubbles and did not have to hit with heat. I personally think the Lite is not as durable as the regular and takes FOREVER to cure so I have been using it only as a first [of more than one] coat. The epoxy has cured nicely, so if you were ever thinking about trying this.....go for it. Tony Re: You Can Mix Threadmaster Lite with Regular

I haven't noticed anything unusual about the drying time of TM Lite. So far, I've had no problems with longevity. I guess I'm talking about 8 years. Re: You Can Mix Threadmaster Lite with Regular

I think Billly V has been doing this for a while, unless I'm thinking of someone else. Re: You Can Mix Threadmaster Lite with Regular

Hello John.
Billy uses Thread Master & ProKote mixed together, I have used it and it seems to work just fine. Tight Wraps, Tight Lines, and Big Fish. Bob, New Bern, NC. Re: You Can Mix Threadmaster Lite with Regular
