Roger,
trying not to be disrespectful here but have you actually done this with a micro guide? I asked for the specific sizes and I got a generalized response. I was figuring since you said you used them you could give them to me. I have already explained that I have been unable to find the appropriate sized screws in my area and needed the exact sizes for the guides I listed. I am sorry I am

Roger do you have the exact sizes of the screws? I have not been able to locate the sizes that will fit in the micro guides and am looking to procure them. I was wondering if you could measure the size and pitch of those that you use for the micros.
as I measure the rod to chop where else would it be if it were not between the butt or tip?
thanks,
Tom

Roger,
Your idea sounds like it works very well for 6 mm guides and up, what size machine screws are you utilizing for 3.0, 2.5 as well as 2.0??? I would love to see the blank material as well... has to be VERY tiny to work the way you describe it.
I personally only scrape the top of the guide so the thread will adhere and not shoot the guide out as you wrap. I also start the wrap with ab

Rick,
I have some of Schneiders guides smaller than their listed 4mm. All that you need to do is call them and they will special order them for you. I know that Karen at at Bingham and Scott at Fish Sticks all can get them for you. I think you will be VERY happy with them. I know that all of my customers have been quite excited with them.
Roger, the best thing that I can say is buid one ea

Bill,
You may be satisfied with something like 25, 10, 5, and then your runners or even 25, 10, 6 then runners. Give either of those a shot and see what you think. I have both setups and am equally satisfied. I use Fuji or Batsons in my setups. I am not sure what line you are using but I have used mono, braid and even flouro on these setups with great success. I have used 2000 and 2500 sized r

I was actually thinking about this last night on my drive back to NC. What would happen if they were to utilize something like nylon and coat it with something like the nano coating that Garcia is utilizing?

The shipping is second to none, my wife knows that when I get stuff from them she should "inspect" it for me. I.E.... snatch up refund charges... It is the only time she asks me when I will be ordering more. She calls it her Quality Assurance charges... funny when that is what I do for a living..
Great people, GREAT products and a passion to share knowledge to those willing to liste

I have and you will find it very similar.. Wish there was a cheaper option available vice the North Fork's... Please don't get me wrong. I absolutely LOVE my North Fork!!!!! however for those rods I personally am not willing to put out that kind of money.. Really wish that MHX would pick up models like those!

Tom,
I am not worth a poop when it comes to weaving but if I can provide any data that you might need, I would be delighted. I am still a member of the good ole USMC (have been for 18 years) and the wife has the same heritage to her career as does your family ( she is a Chief and has been in 19 years). Please let me know if I can be of assistance.
Thanks,

Mike,
I am sure that I may end up needing a couple of the Pack stickers once the family sees this rod.....I was actually raised in WI so I am sure that I will wind up needing some eventually.
Where did you find the vinyl's?

1101. chicago bears emblem
Hi guys,
I have finally gotten around to building myself a Chicago Bears themed rod... anyone have an idea as to where I might be able to find a small decal to put inbetween the grips? yes, I know DA BEARS... maybe I can beat up on the fish with it as badly as Chicago got beat up last year. LOL
thanks,
Tom

Greg,
Skip the 8 and start with a 6 dbl foot or you can even use a single foot 5 and then smaller from there (If you like the double foot check with the Swampland boys and they can take care of you).

I too have that video and you can make one yourself just as Bill suggested. Is an easy thing to do. Only need a scrap piece of blank and the abrasive and some contact cement.

Neil,
I have used SCII's and SCIII's with great success although the new blanks they make are a little lighter. Earlier non IPC models were 10-17 and .25-.75oz. I have also used some of the 726 IM10 All Star blanks that I cut 6" from the bottom. I am really fond of the Croix's in the avids for spinner bait rods. The All Stars make nice worm and jig rods (I still have a few of these blan

I honestly wouldn't trade my Power Pro for anything... It just works for me. I use the 30 on many of my casters! You will have no problems if you follow the others advice. I have tried Suffix (not the 832), Tuff line, Power Pro, my second choice would most likely be Stealth.
