Good evening! Has anyone used the Shikari ISJ 5300 as a spin jig rod blank? How does it compare to the Loomis SJR6400?

Thanks,
Rick

I have and you will find it very similar.. Wish there was a cheaper option available vice the North Fork's... Please don't get me wrong. I absolutely LOVE my North Fork!!!!! however for those rods I personally am not willing to put out that kind of money.. Really wish that MHX would pick up models like those!

Tom -- It just happens that we have 5 to 6 shorter Spin Jig and Spinning models in the works. They will be another 90 days or so out yet.

Shikari's 5300 was based on the G. Loomis 6400. They're almost identical.

Bob,

Finally!!!! Really have been waiting for a new stick to fill the void for my old SJ722's. I would love to have something available similar to the 6400 or 5300!!
