Mo,
On my smaller builds using a 20 as the beginning guide I will typically go 20,10,5, then 3.0's (or smaller) to the tip. i have been using a lot of the 2.5's over the 3.0's lately and really like it for small spinning stuff.

Christopher,
I have gotten general responses and they can be frustrating to say the least, this may help.
I use 6dbl foot, followed by single 5,4,3 and possibly smaller depending on what I am goint to use the rod for and what pound test. I was pointed in this direction by Steve Gardner and never looked back to be honest.

Rich,
All of the ones that I have used have been built for a number of years. I got all of mine from Andy Dear when he was handling them. I will have to check the house when I get home tomorrow for the models for ya.

Richard,
I have not used the MagSpin series however I can tell you that I have been VERY happy with the ones I have used. I have not heard much in the way of reports about them but I do know it did take a while to get them in. Give Scott a call at Fish Sticks and he should be able to help you out.
