I had a Cabela's Tourmament zx frog rod that was stolen. The blank was tzxc-73h it was 7 feet 3 inchs rated for 17-30 lb line and 1/4 oz to 11/4 oz. I would like to make one. Does anybody know who was supplying these blanks or could you recommend a similar blank? Thanks Sam

I know a lot of guys use 3 or 4 guides to transition to the bottom of the blank but wasn't there another method that only used 1 small guide at a 90 from the stripper guide? Thanks Sam

I have a one man abs plastic boat that weighs 60lbs because of a bad back quite often I will pick up the front and drag it to the lake. I want to glue a couple of pieces of lexan to the rear so the dragging does not wear through the abs.I know there are plenty of glue experts here will Rod Bond work if not can you recommend I glue that will glue lexan to abs without damging anything. Thanks Sam

I just put flex coat color preserver on some guide wraps and after it dryed there are white spots all over the threads(i think the spots are where the preserver was but on a little bit heavier). What happened and can i fix it without re wrapping? I think the problem may have to do with tempeture i am in new england and the room was about 60 degrees.I have never had any problems in the past. Thanks

I have seen guides that would turn white in the rain i assume this is because the guide was not sealed prooerly.A freind of mine called me and told me that he has 4 rods that he keeps in his boat that have turned a cloudy white color the entire length. Two are loomis and two are st crouix. What is causing this is it moisture in the rod locker and if so will they clear up in the sun? Thanks S

I just purchased a couple of all star titanium rod blanks and i made the mistake of not checking the weight before i bought them. I thought these would be very sensitive rods because they are top of the line but they seem heavy is the titanium only added for strength and durabliity? I also purchased an all star im10 this seems like a very nice blank. I am glad i bought these blanks at a good dis
