No knots inside the guides...It's mostly straight up and down fishing on structure with 20-30lbs braid from boat.....built one rod on the lighter jaws blank and was thinking about using the micros on this one

I am going to give the micros a try...going to be building on a JAWS JI7602....it is 7'-6" going to cut to 7'..... how many mirco's, size, and location from tip do you guys think.........thanks

I posted the same question a couple months ago...I ended up cutting the butt end off a bps rod to make it work...lesson learned do not build a weighted butt for anybody......

Looking for a adjustable butt cap..... The rubber screws off and you apply these brass weights that look like washers......This is for a saltwater spinning rod I need to build. Thank You Harry

I built with get results some shaky head rods on BATSON rod blank # RX8+S822.5 ..... A real sweet blank for that purpose

couldn't you just use a tiny brush and some testers paint while it's in the rod wrapper to make a nice band and then epoxy over.........

I have built a dropshot rod on a Rainshadow ISB 822.5 blank... I emailed Kerry Batson on a set up for this rod.. His reply was 9" rear grip...2.5"fore grip...17mm seat..... guides 6 6 7 8 10 16 30 ( I change out the 30 to a 25) spacing from to tip 4.5 9.5 15 21 28 36 45.... I think everything worked out well for that blank really a good feel... Harry

I did the same thing on the clear.. You need the white colored decal paper, After printing when the ink dries you have to spray it with clear to seal it then apply to rod........
