Thanks to each of you for your input... Certainly some possibilities but overall I guess I like those from Mud Hole best. Looks like I may just have to forego the dang pocket. Where where where will I stick my pen? Clyde

I'm looking for personalized Tee-Shirts similar to Mud Hole's, but with front pockets on the shirts. Anyone here have any experience with these? Thanks,

I'll be picking up Mike Barkley at the airport in Greensboro around noon on Friday. I've got plenty of space for a couple more if anyone else needs a lift to Winston/Salem. All I need is an email with your info. Clyde Thomas

Bill, 65#'s would be a heck of a blackfish, probably doesn't exist.... but wreck fishing often/usually requires 6 - 10 oz of lead and those pesky blackfish are famous for dragging a rig into the nearest hole it can find. I expect that is why he is planning on 65# test so being a little under rated may not be an issue for the blank you decide on. In my opinion, most important is enough s

No problem Mike.... you can just put your goodies in my truck, sooner or later I'll be out to Michigan. More seriously, there'll be nothing stopping you from taking the truck to the local UPS store... I'm sure we can find one close to an establishment that serves up adult refreshments and dinner. Clyde

Following Kevin's instructions, I've applied the TACHY/MOP abalone using the 3/8" overlay and I'm gonna tell you that after a couple nice coats of epoxy, you can't feel it and unless you're looking for it you won't see it either. I think the masking tape measuring plan fails because the abalone doesn't wrap around the blank quite as cleanly as the tape does. While Mudhole's presentation is

I can't imagine that any of our sponsor dealers would not accept a return of the products if the time span involved is reasonable. I have dealt with most of them and they have all been more than willing to stand by what they sell. Clyde

Mike, If you can't find an empty 4oz paint can, you can certainly buy a 4oz can of "something in the paint dept", clean the can, and be in business for about $5. Clyde

Mike, John and I sincerely hope that next year's show coincides with your birthday AGAIN! And don't be upset with John, he has a fine singing voice. Bet Keith, Ann, and Bob would have enjoyed it too! Clyde

Jeff, Probably the best bet would be to contact Mr. Jeff Little at St Croix and pose the question directly to him. His email is jeffl@stcroixrods.com. SC is very customer oriented so if there's a chance the rod is under warranty I'm sure Mr. Little will take care of you. Clyde

Mitchell, thanks for raising this question.... given the number of times it has been asked previously (stated one way or the other) I'm reasonably sure that others have misunderstood this issue/solution too. Between Tom, Roger, and Ken's answers, there should now be a pretty universal understanding. clyde

Jeff, Easily solved. Remove the lid from the resin and put it in the microwave for 5-10 seconds. (It wouldn't hurt to cover it with a paper towel or something to keep it from spattering in the microwave). You should not have to do anything with the hardner. Clyde

Jim, 1/2" i/d will work fine... make sure you prep the area with a scotchpad before applying the cement. You shouldn't need to ream anything, the new grip oughta slide right into place. Clyde

Is anyone aware of a size 18 graphite exposed blank casting seat on the market? I've searched thru the sponsors on the left, haven't found one yet. Maybe have to go with a size 17? thanks, Clyde
