i just mark where the ring is on the blank and if it falls off i know where it goes still
also the tape isnt bad i can pull on it a little and it will break loose so i can slide the guides where ever th

just curious when you are casting these spiral rods do they feel like casting a spinning rod? or does it still feel like a baitcaster?

and learning from the mistakes that happened this time will help you with what you need to work on to get ready for next time

lol sounds like everyone probably had a good time though...next time maybe mix a little for the rear grip then mix a little more after you get the reel seat ready then a little more after that for the foregrip at least then youll have 30 mins available :)

Richard Curry you just made me crave burger king lol :)
to me custom is taking the blank you want and adding whichever parts you want i call this customer because im only making one like this that fits the person perfectly...im not making 300 just like this one...well if you want 300 of them haha

well i used it on a 30-50lb gatorglass blank today (conventional reel attached) and it was to put on the guide closest to the reel and i did some bottom fishing today and it didnt move around or come off or anything but....its only been drying about 21 or 22 hours or so at this time and if i try to move around the guide it flexes but returns to its proper spot...not sure if it will go rock hard o

I just got my guide MW guide set for my 7'6 rod and on the instructions it says its the suggested spacing for rods using 8 1/2" rear grip....can i use this same spacing even though i have an 11" rear grip or do i have to adjust for the longer rear grip? if so does anyone know how i should adjust it for the 11" rear grip?

thats what i did but i did it after 3 coats lol i put it on thin but wow its reallllllly thin then i figured another thin one might be normalish but no very thin still so i made it pretty thick and it covered pretty nice..i should have done the thick one on second coat
by the way i didnt use a drier i rotated by hand for a few (78F in the room) a quarter turn every couple mins and it leveled p

so far i like it but im not sure how well it holds up yet
im hoping this does good after some more testing c

this is only a one part finish and everywhere i read says its hard to remove bubbles so what is the best thing to use to apply it? brush? spatula?
is it good for use on a whole rod? or is it a repair only type deal? ill be using it on a rainshadow hs9000 blank for light saltwater flats fishing

ive seen people on youtube using them and some fishing forums people tell about making and using them and they all say that a spinning reel is needed cause a baitcaster/conventional will backlash...just remember to flip the bail before you launch haha
about the boat thing boats are expensive and they cost money to maintain with gas and registration and life jackets, flares, lights, motor maint

man i was hoping the rockies would have won it but during that first game i was thinking they lost! they went through like 6 pitchers in the first game i figured they would have at least won one game......only problem with baseball other than the announcers are dull is they need to have a salary cap to give the broke teams a chance haha
sounds like this little get together is going to be fun
