Gerald...i would politely remind your customer that was he who in fact requested the Gun metal Guide Wraps.Talk to him and see if he would compromise by having you do a Trim Wrap on the Blank in the orange. Explain the Time and work involved in removing the existing Wraps..and the subsequent re intallation of the Guides, and the new orange Warps...what that will cost..and it may be enough to disc

Jeff...Boil water in the Kettle, pour Boiling water on a wash / terry cloth, hold the dry portion of the cloth and apply the wet Towel to the dent...it usually works the first time to pop the dent out...You may have to repeat it...but it works..trust me...i have have done it numerous times. i run into this at times the from the rollers on my Rodsmith wrapper,despite the very light tension from t

Hi Folks...i can't find any info on the MHX site ..as to whether or not their MHX CB 843 Blend...is a Blend of proprietary Graphite or a Blend of Graphite and Glass...any information as to what the Blend is, would be greatly appreciated...Thanks in advance Guy's!!

Kevin...Phil just answered your question with complete accuracy. And either way...these are both very good blanks...the RX-6 is sometimes refered to as a "Value" Blank, in my Humble opinion,only in price...is it a St.Croix SCV??...or a High End Sage??..no...but they are not Junk either...and i'm really, really picky L.O.L!!!. i have built on both, and can tell you you won't be sorry...C

Rob...i do a Feather Inlay with "Jungle Cock" Feathers...ie. 18" Mark for Walleye as an example..i cut the tip of each Feather to a Sharp point, specifically30 degrees. And Place the Feathers exactly 18" from point to point on the Blank. Cheers!!!

Tom...about the Fishing.... season is still open...i have a Walleye trip to the Bay of Quinte coming up in early November...which no doubt means the Boys and i will be sporting Mustang Floater suits...it's going to be cold!!!...but it's also Trophy Time for Walleye!!!

Tom...Don't misunderstand me i Love the MHX Blanks...or i otherwise would not have purchased as many as i have. Given the choice i'd go for the St.Croix...as you said,it's all subjective...but it is based upon on the Water experience...so a slight edge goes to the St.Croix...just my humble opinion...
