Jonathan.. Im afraid your Instructor is mistaken, as Graphite [ Fibres / Cloth ] are produced in a number of Countries throughout the World. It is not something exclusive to NASA. As for U.S based manufacturers..St. Croix, Sage, Lamiglas, Loomis...just to name a few.

Duane...i just did a dry fit for you ,,, the Keyway on the Batson HEFGA EVA16C is approximately half of the width of the Key on the American Tackle Aero hood. Nor is the Batson key quite as high as the Amtak. There is too much play, i personally wouldn't go with this set up Duane...too much slop. Cheers!!!....Wayne

Ron, i just received the same non-water based Casons formula. I used it on Guide wraps last Night for the first time. Really nice product, i have not used it on Inlays however. I have always used Flex coat for Inlays, it works well for me. i will try the Casons on some scrap feathers and see how it works out. Cheers!!! ....Wayne

Would any of you Gentleman, who have used Cason's " Crystal Clear " Colour Preserver in their non- water based Formula. Be able to tell me if the consistency of this product is thin??. Or is it more " glue " like, an example .... the newer version that Gudebrod came out with for their 811. Which i did not like at all. Most accounts i have read on the Gudebrod 811 version, we

She Hollers "Wayne, Paul is on the Phone!!! ". So i decide to take the call upstairs in the Kitchen. Shoot the breeze with my Buddy for 10 minutes, hang up, go back down to my Shop. Now i spend the next 20 minutes

Jeff, the largest Agate Guides available in nickle silver that i know of are avaiable in 14 mm only. The supplier is a non sponser of this site. You can e-mail me for the suppliers name, if you can live with the 14 mm size. hope this helps a bit... As to whether there is a source out there for 16 mm Agates. Someone else may know ..Good Luck with your search Jeff...Cheers!!

Nick...i have been wanting to try "Crackle Paint" on reel seats myself. Can any of you Gentlemen recommend a "Brand" or Manufacturer if you like. As i have only used Metallics on reel seats. More specifically.... in my time spent in stores purchasing Metallic spray paint, i have only seen "Hammered or Textured " finishes as anything other than Metallics. Thanks Fella
