I have a client seeking to replace a 2-pc, 5' 10" fiberglass rod for one of his fishing buddies . I seek to find a fiberglass, 2-piece, no longer than 6' in length which will be used mostly for trolling, but at times, for casting (yes, a standard bait casting reel.) The preference is this blank will be quite stiff, but I would consider a different "feel". Any help appreciated.

I have the dimensions of a graphite rod built by St Croix which is no longer in production. Perhaps one of you can help me find a similarly dimensioned blank. Gene, I built on this blank last summer. I would encourage you to just do the static test as it worked just fine for me. I had planned on checking out three different rods I had built and putting one of them in my personal arsenal.
