Finally taking a crack at combining hypolon grips and cork, purchased U-40 Rod bond adhesive, 16oz containers, looks like Vaseline jars, Question: How do most of you mix equal amounts from these containers? New product for me something old news for you any help would help. Thanks Eddie.

Rod, Reels and 18 wheels.

Eyeball it as close as you can. It's not a critical mix. Most just do it on a popcicle stick or spatula.

I eyeball it, and use popsicle sticks to get it out of the jars. (Note--use one popsicle stick for resin, another for hardener). Then, just smash, squash and generally smush the stuff together for a couple of minutes with another popsicle stick. I do it on a piece of cardboard.

I had a hard time believing I could eyeball it and get good results. So, I eyeballed some, mixed it up, then just watched to see if it hardened. It worked, and I've been doing it that way ever since. I think you can be off by something like 20% and it still sets up as strong as if it's 50/50. It's great, great stuff.

Another vote for popsicle sticks, easier/quicker than spoons or any other method that I can think of. It's the way Ralph O'Quinn, the formuater of Rod Bond, does it!!

Tongue Depressors - available at your local pharmacy. I paid $6.50 for a box of 1,000 jumbos.
