David, I can't think of any right now; however, if you do a "search" above for acrylic blanks or acrylic reel seats and select "all dates" and any other parameters you desire, I think you will come up with some recommendations. You might also try try any supplier for pool cue blanks or pen blanks. Bob

David,

Here is one for right now. I also believe that woodcrafters carries some in a smaller size but these guys have stuff starting a 1 1/2" which makes it nicer for larger rings ect. It is under polyester rods on their site.

www.masecraftsupply.com

PS I hope this is the right address I am not at my home and am doing this from memory which is not worth a darn any more. If not email me and I will get you the correct site.

Allen

Not a sponsor but talk to Ryan at www.woodturningz.com-he has 1.5 x 1.5 x 12 acrylic blanks in various colors-nice guy too.

David, try the site for Epco manufacturing, they make all kind of acrylics, don't know how they weather, but summer is just around the corner. That is where I got my stuff, kind of spendy though, minimum order per stick and color, may need to get together with someone or a few others and order variation of colors. Galen Briese

Alan, Did you get my e-mail about the Masecraft rods? Major problems with the stuff within hours of hitting the sun. Do a search here for masecraft/

David...Read the posting from a few days ago re: the ivory blanks from Masercraft. There is a problem with color change when exposed to sunlight in case you are considering the ivory color. Rodge

Yep!

The masecraft stuff has NO UV protectant in it! Almost all the colors are turing black in the sun-NOT GOOD!
