It's not mine some guy wants new guides and wraps on it , but if it was an antique I was going to try an talk him out of it. He told me it was worth a lot of money and someone was going to buy it from him as an antique, but the reel seat is cheap and I know very little about bamboo rods. Thank you for the information. Chris

John I use an ink jet printer for decals all the time. Just let the ink dry for at least a day you will not need cp, just put on a good coat of finish and the ink should be fine. Some times the edges will turn lose if this happens just run a thread around the decal till the finish dries.

Adam I've put this veneer on to trout ( light ) rods in front of the grip. It is not easy to work with and on small rods it can be all most impossible. I have to say that I have givin up at least once. Sounds to me like there was not enough heat, you must heat it when it is going on to the rod but not to much or it will come apart the same as when it is to cool. Note this veneer will crack but I

I just want to say thank you to Tom for the show I had a blast also spent all my money. The rod I used for the contest is an American Tackle AMP842 cut to build out at 6'6". The guides are Fuji Alconite, a 8mm tip down the rod to a 30mm, spacing from tip is 4", 5", 7", 9", 10.5", 13.75". The last guide was placed to hide the end of the matrix on the rod. I would
