Next warp the abalone with thread or twine to smooth down the edges and wait an 1 hour or more for the adhesive to set. finally r

Many of my own rods and several of my customers use recoils, I have not had any noise problems with them using power pro braid or mono. I too use a ceramic tip top.

What blank would you recommend for fishing 1/4oz to 1/2oz jerk baits and MirrOlure MirrOdine twitchbait lures in salt and brackish waters for Snook, Redfish, and spotted sea-trout? This would be for a 7' to 7'6'' spinning rod.

I like shorter blanks in the creeks and longer on the flats and bays, blanks range 6'6'' to 7'6''. I am looking for input on RodGeeks, Batson, northfork and lamiglass blanks.

I am a wood worker that loves to fish So I have merged these to passions in to building most of my rods with slit grip inlayed would handles and decorating the area between these grips with tiger 3

I am looking for feedback on the hydra Ng line of popping and spin jig blanks in regards to application for sea trout, redfish and snook. Price aside, how doe these blanks compare to St Croix, MHX and NFC for such salt water applications?

I am asking for blank suggestions. I was asked if I could build a one piece 10' rod for crappy or spec fishing over submerged brush. he wants a light sensitive blank. All he wants on the rod is a handle and a tip top.

Is anyone coming thought Raleigh, NC on the way to ICRBE? I have a layover at the Amtrak station in Raleigh from 9:00 am till 4:50 pm on 2/19/2010, this means I won’t get to High Point till almost 7:00 pm making me late for the Rodmaker Reception. This is my first ICRBE and I don’t want to be late for the reception if it can be helped. If any one can give me a ride I would appreciated
