I am finding that I like to use Perma gloss or Lumiseal for Micro guides. I can put it on faster and I can control the build up better.

The Technique is the The Hideki rig You can go to Bass masters tips and tools look for the story Western ways part 1 . I am thinking that You would be able to use quite a few different rods for this. More of a personal preference type thing.

I need a little help! A customer and friend Read an article about a NEW fishing technique, just so happens that the author said that this rod is what he uses. Now the customer thinks that you must have that rod in to be successful. What he wants is 7' 3" extra fast tip with medium power. I would gladly build him one But I am Having trouble finding a blank that might work. Any thoughts?

Kevin, When I said that I was referring to the hour and a half that I spent removing the first try. talk about a pain. Your are right once you stick it down you are not getting it off plus the fact I was using the heat gun method. It didn't work for me.

Kevin, Thank you for taking time to do the seminar. I learned a lot and you make it look so easy. Armed with what I learned and the veneer I purchased from you I am going to try it again. This was my first attempt, while it looks ok It was a disaster.
