Has anyone had trouble with your orders from get bit- I ordered a white casting blank a got a black one and then I ordered a blue ultra light spinning and got casting guides in the kit for it and the blank doesn’t seem like an ultralight - I’ve sent a few emails but haven’t heard anything- I’m not mad a thankfully these aren’t special for customers- just wanted opinions thanks Aaron Anderson

Roger, Dont sweat it. It will all work out. When you measure your finish use syringes to get the exact amounts. If you warm your finish after it is mixed it will harden and gel up faster. Make sure you mix it for at least a couple minutes to fully mix. When applying finish with a brush dont use it like a brush - load the brush with epoxy, lower it to the rod and rotate it one turn move over and t

I had built a rod for a friend of mines son for x-mas. They were going to be leaving for Canada yesterday. So I got a call on Monday that the reel seat was loose. When he brought it to me he also said the foregrip was loose. After closer examination the handle was loose to. Here when I took it apart I never put an ounce of epoxy on anything. I must have dry fitted it and then went and built the

Sean, I have tried it on 2 rods and love the pot life and all of that. I have measured with syringes and went by Jims instructions but I also get what your talking about. I also have encountered on the last rod that it ended up tacky after it cured. I think in my case it might be temp as i am from WI and spring doesn't want to come this year. I have used just about all other finishes with no prob

First off is it a spinning or casting rod? And how hard on it are you going to be? If your a tourny angler I would guess they take a beat'n. I know i've fished some tournys myself. For durability I'd go with the St. Croix SC2 or the Batson RX6 blanks. For a middle of the road durability with some more sensitivity Id go with St. Croix SC3 or Batson RX7 blanks. For maximum sensitivity St Croix SC4

I did my first layer with purple and ncp white thread. The problem is I wanted the purple to be the dominate color. i already have one coat of finish on. My question is how will it look if I put purple back on for the second layer with the sacraficial thread. Any options or ideas would be appreciated. The rod wrap colors are purple with sunburst inlays. Thanks guys.

Thanks guys, More than 90% of my weaves would be done on walleye and bass rods and a few musky rods. Jim - I saw the two wheel version for sale on Renzetti's website. Thanks for the reply and I love your work!

I have a question on the wonder weaver. What is the difference with the two wheel version and the three wheel? Can I do all the same things with the two wheel you can with the three wheel? If this is a dumb question I'm sorry, fairly new to the intricate weaves.

Hey guys, I have a customer that wants a handle and seat put on just like the G-Loomis mossyback series of spinning rods. Does anyone know where I could get that special skeleton seat that they use. I tried making everything with a regular skeleton seat but it didnt turn out the way I wanted. I wonder if its just me or the flat loomis seat makes the difference. Any help or thoughts would be appre
