I did my first layer with purple and ncp white thread. The problem is I wanted the purple to be the dominate color. i already have one coat of finish on. My question is how will it look if I put purple back on for the second layer with the sacraficial thread. Any options or ideas would be appreciated. The rod wrap colors are purple with sunburst inlays. Thanks guys.

The top color is the dominant color in determining the overall wrap color. Putting purple on top will most likely do the trick for you.

The full wrap instructions along with a host of specific tips and tricks on getting the patterns and colors you want is in the volume 10 #2 issue of RodMaker.

The color you see through the bottom will be the lighter color. The overall effect will be purple with white stripes. My .02 is that a white/crimson or white/orange would have been better - only because you would get slight tinges of those colors to go with the sunburst...
