For those of you who have been using the different epoxies, what do you find to be the thinnest marketed epoxie in todays market? I am looking for one that doesn't have to be thinned or cut with another chemical. Thanks.

Another thing you can use is clear and colored shrink tubing. Since all my tennessee handles are made of graphite or tubing this really works well. Makes a very nice looking locking device and doesn't detract from the looks of the rod.

Although almost all my personal rods are tennessee type handles. It seems the few rods that I do have reel seats on, the graphite seats seem to hold their looks longer than the aluminum ones. I'm on the water from 110 to 130 days a year and most of my reel seat rods spend a lot of time in a rod holder, so wear is a greater issue as far as looks go. We have used the tubing that Lamiglas makes for about four years now. We use Hardwood turned down for arbors. We scuff the inside with scotchbrite pads then use rod bond. Have not had any come loose yet. Perhaps you could scuff the inside of the tubing and then the blank where the rod bond would be applied. Clamp the blank on the ends with some small clamps or clothespins and let set 24 hour
