Put Plastikote white on an old solid glass rod on a redo for a friend. I tried to put urethane over the paint but it started to dissolve and looks awful. I've got to sand the blank again and repaint. What did I do wrong with the urethane and what do I have to do right this time?

I've made the same mistake, putting on too much finish with the same RPM you are using. Problem solved when I used less finish. Darn the learning curve.

Can someone please tell me why bubbles appear in my Pro Kote at the same place over and over? I put heat on the finish and the bubble popps just like it is supposed to do. However after a few moments a bubble appears in the same spot. I went through this several times with the same frustrating results. What am I doing wrong?
