the 2 part epoxies if not mixed the correct way, you can get some smoke from it an it will have cracks in it , this I know don't ask why

well I want to thank Geoff Staples in taking the time an filling us in on the fix with the power wrapper , it can be applied to drying motor's that I have jaws , my motor did the same thing an my fix was useing a lot of masking tape on the rod wrapped very loose so it don't walk out of my drying motor jaw's just a tidbit SID

not sure just what you want is it the whole but cap ? or just the last 1/8 inch of the butt . if it is the whole end cap about 2 inch long just about any supplier has them that is all I know if it is the last 1/8 inch beats the crap out of me so please explain what you SID

you can try hair dryer, put it in a plastic bag an put in boiling water, or buy a hear gun or rent one it would be a lot less trouble to buy a new reel seat my 2 cts

if nothing works for you use vice grips put the plyers on the male part with one wrap of masking tape under the plyers jaws , as it should be tight but still loose on the male part , then hold the male part on a heavy bench , then have some pull on the femal part , then put the plyers h against the femal section an hit with a hammer in the direction you want the female part to go , the sudden

not all cork is the same tan, look at a few different suppliers an get a little bit from each supplyer that way the lines will stand out, you cant stane cork, what ever you but on it will fade over time, or get some colored cork rings an go fron there , if you do go with the colored rings make sure that the frist an last ring is of the rubberised type, the other partical cork will break

well being that you just drop the bait / lure down the hole a use a a larger eye as your stripper guide [ insert ring type ] # 8 or # 10 an"' kiss it"" [ keep it simple s&&& ] not to tear you down but the kiss princible has been around for a long time , hope it don't affend you , flyrod guids just wire an don't stand up braid or mono. an will wear groves fairl

what ever glue you use it will make it easyer if you use ony one type of glue for the project , I use slow cure epoxie for the compleat job, when I build on the blank ,

DO ABOUT 2 TO 2.5 X THE DIAMATOR FOR THE WRAP. AN CLOSE TO THE END. BUT 1/16 INCH UP WILL NOT CAUSE A PROBLEM AN THE WRAP WILL NOT COME OFF ON YOU .
