I have posted a photo detailing the use of the reel seat you guys are discussing. Search "DPSBFSD" in the photo gallery. It's pretty unique and I'm sure it has applications I couldn't think of.

We do offer a seat that does what you describe. It's a DPSBFSD and oddly enough we were discussing it here a few days ago. I will post a photo and some details later. -AR

The second Anglers Resource newsletter is about ready to go out and it's turning out to be a great place to let everyone know about up-to-the-minute changes and additions to the Fuji line-up. This month we share news about new micro stripper guides, expanded micro top selections, addition of a "secret" guide popularized by Billy Vivona and info on how to get a copy of Anglers new Height

FYI, Fuji KT single foot guides have a unique design feature called an "epoxy port". It's our understanding that Fuji designers actually worked to make sure the tiny open area in the frame under the ring was "epoxy friendly" and would help epoxy flow through the opening and create a tiny support (almost like a second foot) on the front (tip) side of the guide. Many customers have been asking about Fuji’s operations in Japan after the devastating earthquake last week in the northern part of the country. We are pleased to report that we have been in touch with Fuji’s headquarters and learned that the factory, the corporate offices and our exporting agent are all up and running and we should expect NO delays as a result of the earthquake. The model number is BNMVAG and it is a high frame that works well for micro spinning rods. We are carrying size 8 and 12. Please ask your supplier to contact us. Anglers Resource

Special thanks from Anglers Resource/Fuji to Tom and crew for once again doing a fine job with the Expo. In the true spirit of such an event we learned as much as we taught and got a ton of priceless information from a community of builders who consistently give up their best secrets for the good of the craft. It’s a great group, members and exhibitors alike, and we’re proud to be part of it.

We really aren’t in a position to do a direct comparison of Duralite to Alconite but I can give you some information. Alconite is an Aluminum Oxide “composite” that Fuji prefers we not say much about. We can say that there are 3 or 4 other materials in it that give it the specific properties Fuji was searching for. The final formula worked out pretty well. Probably the most important attrib

To understand what has happened with the whole ring size issue, you need to go back to the beginning. When FUJI first introduced ceramic ring guides in the mid 60’s they were measured to compare with existing stainless steel guides that had no ring at all. The ring ID of stainless was simply the size of the opening in the metal frame. Fuji adopted the method of using frame ID measurements for r

Our first shipment of SK2's was gone about the time it arrived. Cleaned out. We guessed WRONG about how big these were going to be. They seem to be a natural for micro guides, split grips and ultra lights. Problem is our manufacturers keep bumping their orders up so we can't make any guarantees about the next shipment either. I will try to post something when we start shipping to the retailers. -

Anyone interested in seeing (not just reading or hearing about) Fuji’s tangle free K-Series in action can now do so at . If you’ve got a few minutes (about 9 I believe), the step by step research Fuji did to develop the guide is detailed in the last video. Most amazing is the 20,000 frame-per-second slow motion footage showing what happens when you release your lure. TOTAL?CHAOS would be a go

Hello from Anglers Resource! We know many of you have commented from time to time about Fuji’s presence on these boards, or maybe lack of presence would be a better description. We’d like to change that and do a better job of keeping the community aware of what’s going on here. Part of our hesitation has stemmed from the fact that Anglers Resource is the North American Distributor for
