Hello from Anglers Resource! We know many of you have commented from time to time about Fuji’s presence on these boards, or maybe lack of presence would be a better description. We’d like to change that and do a better job of keeping the community aware of what’s going on here.
Part of our hesitation has stemmed from the fact that Anglers Resource is the North American Distributor for Fuji but we’re not making the final decision in many cases. We provide Fuji with all the info we can and have open and regular communications. We also carry some weight because we are handling one of Fuji’s strongest markets. Still, final decisions are made on the other side of the world and reflect a global market perspective. All things considered, Fuji does an amazing job of responding to the needs of rod builders worldwide and we are proud to be part of it.
That said, we plan to set our own corporate rules for participating. First, We are not here to jump in and defend Fuji at every turn. There are plenty of loyal customers out there that will be happy to do that for us. We will provide comments only where there is confusion or misinformation. Second, we won’t be “regularsâ€. There are members here that know A LOT about Fuji and do a great job of letting fellow members know what they need to know. Third, we reserve the right to ask questions of our own. It’s how we learn.
Finally, in the true spirit of better communications, we are starting a email newsletter detailing important changes, updates and information about Fuji as well as other interesting news we come across in the industry.
