A guide alignment tool (TaperLine) with blank holder from Backlash Tools. The tool will mark a straight line down the blank to help align guides on the blank and can also be used to mark the lines or marks for buttwraps. The tool is designed to hold the blank straight as it marks down the blank.

I finely got around to making a epoxy bottle holder. In 2008 Doug Cox post a photo of his epoxy holder and I thought what a neat idea. Thanks Doug for sharing.

I cut a 1†PVC pipe about 7†long then cut two ½†fingers about3 ½ long 180 degrees from each other then put a little duct tape on the fingers to protect the handle. I also put piece of cork in the end of the pipe so it will mount easier in the dryer or lathe.

I use the Jigging Spoon Form or CC-Form wire from “Do-it Moldsâ€. You can make two hook keepers from one wire form. I cut the form wire in half then I use a pair of needle nose pliers to make the hook keeper. Measuring about 3 mm from the round end, bend at 90 degrees. Then measuring about 2 mm, bend at 90 degrees away from round end. Next, I measure about 10 mm then cut. You can adjust measur
