They all look okay, but I'm not a fan of the checkerboard look of most of the carbon fiber grips, but the ones that have more of a single-color look are the ones I'd use.

I made a set of reverse pilot bits that have worked well. You can buy them from Flexcoat, buy a copy of Rod Builder mag where they tell you how to make them >>>or just wing it like me.<<<
Just a little thought and some time on the belt sander and you can make your own. I used Bosch "Daredevil Extended Length Spade Bits" they're a twisted spade bit which made sanding

I'd say it depends on the size you're targeting, I use a 5wt for smaller river bass and trout around my area.
