I think it is OK to give a shoutout on here for a Podcast on the subject of Rod Building since it is being created by one of the forum sponsors. Anyhow, really been enjoying listening to the Mastering Rod Building podcast. Have had several great guests and have been learning some things and also just hearing some great stories. Been listening on my commute back/forth to work and has been great.

Anyhow, if you weren't aware of this cool resource for the rod building community you can find it at:
[podcasts.apple.com] (Apple Podcasts)
[rephonic.com]
[anglersresource.net]

I think you can get to it via other locations as well depending upon your device. A google search for "Mastering Rod Building" should get you there. Definitely encourage you to check it out.

Listening to the interview with Vic Cutter now...

Scratching my head about reading about Vic in Dale Clemens book and now the interview with Bill Falconer...kinda spooky.
What an amazing career Vic has had.

I listened to the new podcast today with Rich Forhan. Very to the point and shows why so many bass pros know who he is. The most influential rod builder of all time? I don't know but maybe. He is not a household word but maybe he should be. Nearly all freshwater rods these days do look like Forhan rods other than the Revolver Wrap.
