Thanks for that Roger...I'm thinking I could do something similar with an old arrow, incorporating it into the existing stand.

I been using UV resin for about a year now. I primarily bought it for lure making initially. I also purchased what called a UV torch. Its just a high powered UV flashlight. Eventually I started using it sparingly on rods...just to hold something in place immediately. It's not epoxy...but you can glue something right that second...literally it just takes seconds. One example... With the f

That is some of the funniest stuff I've read in a while. There is something about a rod turning on a dryer that makes others want to touch it...bump into...hit the tip. I've seen and done it all...but never scalped anyone! Classic. Funny...logged out I see the pictures...Logged in = nothing.

I had the chance to talk to Roger Seiders at ICRBE and what a treat that was. Roger is a titan in the rod building arena. He showed me his epoxy brush cleaner and commented that its nothing like acetone...etc...etc. I bought some and I am here to tell you...this (IMO) is a game changer for me. I put a very little amount in a cup...swish the brush in it...clean it off. Done. But heres the

I live near a BPS...any day of the week its packed...people drive from near by states to go there. I'm sure TW sells good quality products... But having said that...there seems to be some security issues with them. Maybe they fixed em by now...I cant say. For more info just Google: tackle warehouse credit card fraud

El...I'm with you...and agree pretty much with your assessment. I rarely ever use the search function for information...old posts are old news. I know there are some jewels back there...but I personally prefer to just re-hash a subject and get the current view/opinion.

Its not noise... I'm trying to show you a way to verify TNF and your just ignoring it. You calling my post noise is (and Les will love this) an Ad Hominem fallacy. I tell you the app uses the microphone...you say it uses the crystals. I prove that the app uses the microphone and ....to be honest....I have no idea what your saying. "We are not using the app to measure frequency. We

Micheal said, "The problem with your system is that there is no way for you and me to have the same calibrated input, and without that correlation between different testers. it is impossible to assure correlation on the output, which is what you want to measure." To back up some...I was telling Michael that he could prove his point about TNF with a phone app that uses an acceleromete

Mark, I have tried to use Keuwlsoft Frequency Counter. I found it a total pain in the ass to even get a measurement consistently. I'm also using an app called Smart Meter Pro that has a vibrometer....it works pretty well. Is there anyone here that has used Keuwlsoft with much success? Smart Meter Pro uses the phone accelerometer to measure a vibration.
