For that heavy of a weight we use our RainShadow RX7 SW967 up here in Washington. You can check out the specs here: For light weights there’s other blanks we’d suggest but for this the SW967 would be perfect, plus comes as a 2-piece.

Slow jig finesse fishing is becoming increasingly popular in the U.S. due to its relaxed and calculated approach. Our Jaguar Design jumped at the opportunity to design a new RainShadow blank series specific to this extremely effective technique. The Slow Jig blanks are now in stock at our warehouse. Check out the specs and video at:

For this new set of guides, we took our popular MXN and F-Guide designs and lowered the height to bring line closer to the rod blank. This reduces side-to-side torque that is generated while fighting the fish. The lower ring height also allows better transfer of the blank’s power into the cast. In stock now at the Batson Warehouse, check with your favorite dealer about ordering. You can see

Sounds like you’d probably go with a bit more of a Medium power. In which case we’d recommend from our RainShadow Lineup: Immortal IMMS610MXF - Or Revelation REVS610MXF - If you can find the Eternity drop shop model with one of our dealers (we're out of stock at the warehouse), that's a high popular model.

We’d go with our RainShadow Revelation REVF9010-4 would be our choice. Great action but still durable. - If you prefer a 2-piece our Revelation is available in an 8wt and 9wt. - You could go with our Unity 8wt but there’s no 10wt version in that lineup.

Hi Denham, Sounds like you’re throwing a fairly heavy setup with ½-3/4oz weight plus assuming plastic and hook, moving it up to the ¾-1oz. range. If that’s the case then we can’t go too light on the blank, so we’re thinking Medium Heavy would be best. We’re familiar with the areas you’re fishing, we’re in Western Washington so assume you’re going over to Pot Holes and Banks. Our normal re

Introducing a great new addition to our carbon grip lineup. We took our most popular carbon fiber grip shapes and added three accent colors to an all-new carbon/fiberglass design. These new accent colors allow you to truly customize the color scheme on your next rod build with unmatched quality. You can see photos and specs here:

We’d personally recommend our RainShadow Immortal IMMC73HXF – has an x-fast tip but still has the power behind it - You can also go with the Revelation REVC72H -

David, this is from our head designer Mike Thorson (who lives and breathes Bass fishing), "While the rod weight is similar, the Testament has a better balance point than the Immortal. They will feel lighter in the tip weight wise. Also power wise these will feel; a bit lighter powered than the Immortal (much like the Eternity blanks are). Sensitivity will be very close between the two."

David, I personally haven't fished the Testament yet (I don't fish for bass too often), I'll go have someone else come on board and answer that part of your question. So the Testament will be priced very similar to Immortal. This was an opportunity for us to put out a Made in USA RainShadow blank at a more affordable price while still have great performance. It is currently in production a

It's that time of year again when we release our new products for the upcoming tackle year... and here they are! Our Jaguar Design team works around the clock with our sales team and Team RainShadow members to develop the latest products. It takes a team of engineers and anglers to come up with these products every year and they consistently produce the best. So enough of that... let's get

Hi Brett, it’s definitely a great time to be into custom rods as there’s so many quality blanks out on the market. Specifically from our RainShadow lines, here's a few different models that are best sellers for us for and fit what you are looking for. Immortal IMMP70M, our highest end popping blank. Specs: Revelation REVIP70M, you can never go wrong with a Revelation blank. Specs: RX6 SP

Russell gave a good option with the RainShadow RCBL70ML, the RCLB70L would work quite fine too. Check the specs at: If you wan to go a little more price conscious then do the Rainshadow E-Glass SWB70L or ML (they’ll hold up just fine) -

Correct, all the the USA made bass blanks are no longer being produced... We are out of stock on the ETES72M-SS but still have at least a few of all the other models (some more than others) but once they're gone they are gone. We are not doing a "clearance sale" on our end. Seth Johnson Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > James Taylor Wrote: &

Yes the RainShadow Eternity line of bass rod blanks is coming to an end – so get them while you can as they are no longer being produced. A new line of U.S. manufactured bass rod blanks will be introduced in July at ICAST and are currently in production. This new offering will include 13 different models (spin, cast and crankbait) at a very competitive price. The Eternity2 Fly rod blanks will

From RainShadow, we have 7’2” models not a 7’ but these are what we’d recommend from our lineup. My personal favorite is the Immortal line IMMC72M, so a couple inches longer but otherwise fits what you’re looking for. Check the specs at: Lot of people love the Revelation lineup in which case I’d go with the REVC72M -

All RainShadowblanks are designed by our in-house engineers, materials, pattern layout, glues… basically the recipe on how they are to made is by our team, headed up by Mike Thorson. Very few in this industry have Mike’s combined knowledge of materials and design, along with a passion for fishing (he would rather be on the water than in the office). By following our blueprints, the action of the

We are extremely excited to announce that the ALPS Titanium HXN Guides are in stock and ready for action. We spent the last two years adapting the same popular features of our ALPS stainless steel HXN guides into new titanium frames. That coveted HXN heavy platform is now lighter, stronger and corrosion free. You will not find another comparable titanium guide in the Extra Heavy Saltwater
