The Snake brand guides are one of the best if not the best , one of the reasons is the foot / feet have been bent to fit the radius of the road one type of there guides are flat for the BAMBOO blanks , so make sure
what you order , PS very little prep "" if any"" on SNAKE BRAND GUIDES , as I see it ,

you can make an arbor out of wine corks an it works just fine , you need to fill the void in the grip as much an you can so the grip will not fall apart over time ,
PS I got my wine corks off the NET cheep , I suppose you could drink a couple bottles of wine to get them , your choice ,
just a different way of doing filling the void ,

of the long tube the cover was held in place with a leather strap , can not recall where I saw it . hope some other people can fill in the blank spots , [ I hope ]

If the axis is the same on the motor an the holder for the blank on the drying stand that problem goes away , I THINK
Forum: rodboard 3 years ago
Bill Sidney
Not sure how it happen but if you use a chuck on your motor [ plastic with 3 arms on it ] you have to make sure the axis of the blank holder is lined up with the axis of the motor , if not it will walk an the blank will drop out when using it as a dryer , this takes time to walk out of the jaws of your motor , [ like hours, like drying dz ]

some people will change around a little , from one make to a different one . but not many will, they just stay with what they have on there bench ,
