I started my business this year (add to my day job).
I'll try to build the Best Rod for the customer and give him options (if possible).
I'll go slowly if needed, I want to do the best, and build technical rater than fancy Rod.
Attention to détail is my goal, never had à customer complaining about price when they hold the resulting rod.
Some ask for lower price in à first approach, I tell

Let your blank as it came to you.
Just put à little wrap at transition betwen unsande/sanded portion if you wish.
The blank is sanded at the put over section for better fit (a little longer for futur wear).

This is the process i use, but it leave end tags showing ubder thread aftershave applying epoxy with out CP (wich i never use as i don't like the result, don't like NCP thread too).

NCP (or ColorFast or Staytrue) thread no need color preserver.
FC is fine, one coat too, 2 coat of lite too as 1 lite one heavy, find the most confortable for you and stick with it.

I was fortunate enough as the inside diameter of the tube match thé outsider diameter of the blank, so a dab of epoxy did thé job.
Otherwise I should havé used foam arbor (shim).

I had very bad experience with Fishhawk.
ProWrap is very nice, I only use the standard (no NCP) and it is very good, the Metallic is good too.
