I only give him a link for that is looking for (as it seem he stated like dream reamer but rasps style). Yes price of ultimate reamer is high but if you do a lot of reaming (I don't) may be you can save a lot of time, and time is money :-)

It was fine (as this are on my personal rod I only want the best LOL). But you must kept in mind : I use very fine braid (PE0.6) fine tippet (4/8lbs) and I pay attention to my leader/braid knot (I tie FG knot). Reel is à Daiwa 2004 size (high end). On my go to rod I use Torzite Guide (size/size ID of ring is larger than on Alconite or Sic guides). The stripper should be 22" to 25"

I use the same reduction guide (mainly 25/12/5.5 or 20/10/5.5) for the same rod/reel/line , difference may be found in my running guide. I too use sometime 16/8/5.5 but only if light braid will be used and I go as radical as 16/7 on some of my personnal builds.

You may order some from Matagi. I build some TR69 and TR74 for RockFishing and use them for Perch with light lure (up to 1/8oz).

It's personal preference, I like short handle. For UL to M (sometime MH) spinning rod I like 9" to 10" from butt to reel seat stem. Take care only 1'" make a huge different feel for me.

Without winding check you have to find a solution for not showing yours arbors ;-)

As stated by Fuji you should have 34mm between the two part (winding check excluded). This work well (I used 33mm too). Some find the spinning version unconfortable, I dot not. I liked it with the KDPS style hood

Eliseu I notice on your videos you're using a small blue brush I never seen before. Seems to be smaller than the classic throw away brushes. Can you give me lenght and width and maybe were I can find some to try. Thanks.

It's all about the fishing you plan to do. Species and size of the flies. Let us know and we'll point you in the right direction.

For me top of the Line blank are for skiller fisherman, who don't High stick. I think upper level blank use higher carbon module and don't like high sticking.

With only function in mind hard to beat a custom rod. You will have the right guides for the job and the right reel seat placement for you.

Look at the way single foot guide are build. Same wire (and same lenght of wire) for the two, the difference is that for single foot (or so called) the two foot are on te same location and welded. So same weight, but only one wrap (and finish associated). The différence in weight is the weigt of the thread and finish. Another note, with snake you have two wrap, wich create a more hard point

Hi I'm locking for a 6'6" to 7' light (3/16oz to 1/2oz) Crankbait blank (casting) The more used lure will be the Zip Bait B-Switcher 2.0. Target species Perch and Zander (maybe some medium size pike). Let me know your prefered blank for this purpose (multiple choice welcome). Thanks.

Start to strip the paint off (only where tube of tip top will cover) that should be enough.

This 62L is a keeper for light fishing, yes it is very light (as stated). I too extended it to 6'4" and 6'6". The Immortal Walley serie (I build 62L, 62MXF and 68MXF) is very, very good. All light in hand and sensitive. Top blank at a nice prince.

62L is lighter than SJ720 and handle light lure better. SJ720 is stiffer and has more power. I too favor the 62L.
