I will see what I can do for a picture. It is a single foot ceramic guide. the "V" holding the ring is deep, open all the way to the foot, Meaning it is not solid part way up towards the ring.
I have look on the fenwick site and they show they are using Alconite Guides.

You probably can go to a sewing center such as Joann or something and buy embroidery thread. I understand the the Medira poly is the same as A thread. This was the same thread the NERBS was using for thier packag thread.

I had a Shimano that I broke the tip on while carring it to the beach one morning. I package the rod up and a littlel not stating that I was not sure how the tip boke and they sent me a new rod. I paid for the shipping back to the factory and they sent the rod at no charge. I believe in Shimano. P.S. It took UPSa full week to transport the rod from the east coast to CA and only 3 days for Shimano

I also want to thank Tom for putting on a wounderful show this year. It was my first time and I feel I received a wealth of information while attending. I was in the rod building in the late 70's and quit to raise a family. Now I am returning and really looking forward to it. I am already looking forward to next year show.

I am looking to attending the Expo. I use to build custom rods about thirty years ago. I am looking to getting back into the trade at this time. I reliaze that there have been many advancement made in the past years and I am needing to get up with this. I am hoping that the Expo will help in this.
