Here's the first effort to better my product that really looks like an effort that failed. These are supposed to light up better than my product from what the patent application says. So for his efforts he has now committed infringement as well as defamation. The little ice rod is the patent pending product, I could all but build that thing with my eyes closed.

Thanks to Roger Wilson my power wrapper is way more manageable now. This is my wrapping station with the wrapper turned 180 degrees for this picture. All wiring is ran through the base of the wrapper (other then the short span between the motor and base of the wrapper) and the reverse/forward switch is mounted in the center of the wrapper for easy access from either end of the wrapper. It's plug

Okay I feel like a total nitz for the rush job on the coatings at this point but it does give me an idea of how the thread will hold up. U40 LS Supreme low build was used. The red on the end is some Rayon that got mixed in, not strong enough. 10 months weathered in front.

These are the newest addition to my shop. I made the stand for the molds and thought the whole contraption looked pretty cool so I'm posting it. These are molds that I can use to cast end caps machined by some of the best avionics machinists in the world. The case is another failed attempt at a vacuum chamber to illiminate the bubbles through the interior of the finished castings. I'm doing this

This is my second tool that has come off my little metal lathe, it is a new live center for my grip lathe. It'll handle up to 1-1/8" i.d. matertials and was made from a 3/4 inch bolt and a skateboard bearing

I can almost see an end to the majority of the shop build now. A few lights here and there, another cabinet and some more shelves and I'll be so packed in I'll be ready to start my next shop in the garage. ;)

This is my latest rod shop project. It’s an old multipurpose miniature woodworking tool I was given and am in the process of converting to a grip lathe. I took it apart, cleaned it up, fixed the motors fan that was in three pieces, rigged the speed selection switch that was broken so it works again. From a ¾ inch fine threaded bolt I milled an adapter with my metal lathe (the silver one) for t

At just over six foot in length this R and D subject put up a fight my buddy wasn't ready for so I got to play anchorman. This was one extremely tough fish!

If you were at the show in Charolette you may have seen this. I sent this blank to Mark Crouse and ended up trading some work for a more catfish oriented blank so he could build his friend a rod. Thank you Mark this is a very nice fishing rod.

The extra bedroom got a lot smaller today with this six foot high eight foot long and two foot wide coater drier. I finally get to work on this thing in above freezing temps now :) It still has to be inclosed and a lot of little parts have to be finished but its almost looking like a useable tool now.

This a 16 RPM 8 position coater drier drivetrain that features quick change rubber chucks. A lot of these parts will not be able to be seen when the drier is finished so I posted for the folks that might want to follow suit.
