I have a waterslide decal that I have printed. The instructions from the waterslide paper manufacturer states to use an acrylic varnish spray to prevent scratching/fading. Question: Can I use flex coat color preserver instead, which is an acrylic color preserver and sealer???? thanks

Looking for a custom decal. roughly 8" long or more, wrap around a surf blank. Want the decal to have several, maybe dozens of 'thumbnail' size photos... kinda like a collage. Is this possible? Any other ideas? Trying to come up with ideas for a theme rod of a music group.

I am making a cork handle for a bass rod. I have two burl rings that are 1/8" wide and they are also 1.5" in diameter. My other rings are only 1.25" in diameter. Wil I have trouble sanding the larger rings down to the size of 1.25? Will they chip while sanding. Any suggestions. Thanks for your help

Im using flex coat on a finish base wrap. My second coat is slightly sticky. Its been curing for about 4 days and not getting any better. It is a little sticky to the touch... I've used flex coat for many years with no trouble. I guess it was not an exact 50/50 mix on my part????/ WIll another coat fix it?? Thanks for all replies

Hello, I am having a decal made that has some color black in it. I am told that it will fade into the color of the blank and mostly dissapear. (glossy black/grey blank). It has been suggested using a white background for the decal or white underwrap. So in testing for a white underwrap, the blank still shows through the wrap a little. So should i wrap on top of the first wrap with anothe

Got a quick......elementary question... I am putting snake skin under double footed casting guides on a surf rod. Do most use in skin as a entire underwrap or just enough skin to see under the guide ring and then underwrap the feet with thread????? Any color suggestions on rattle snake skin???? thanks!!!!!!

do you think i will have any problems with a slightly chipped furrule? Its an Allstar 1509 blank........13ft surf rod. It appears to be only sufface chip; but may go down one or two layers. Its chipped from the sidewall of the hole to about 1/4 an inch down the blank. Dont know if the photos are good enough for yall to tell........ What should i do??
