ATC's patented Vetre Handle System transforms the beauty of their emerald green woven Matrix twill into a durable, ultra light and sensitive carbon rod handle that will match any American Matrix rod blank. An up-locking woven graphite grip assembly (mounted the same as any reel seat), secures your reel into the molded graphite seat for both spinning and casting models. Designed without a fore gri

Hi All, I want to apologize for the advertisement that went out yesterday via email regarding the Cease and Desist of our Quad Leg Guide design patent. The advertisement was supposed to be in the body of our newsletter with an explanation of what the ad was all about. It was never intended from its conception to be a legal notice to any company or individual. It was not formatted correctl

Hi Rick, It only feels like spam if you launch the topic. Ben is a breath of fresh air around our office. His exuberance is genuine and contagious......for most. He is excited for his customers and wants to share the wealth. There is a natural life cycle of excitement for anything new and it wears off eventually and so won't these posts. But we are still in the honeymoon phase of this ph

Hi Guys, We make the 30/8 size guide for Castaway that is sold individually which I believe Swampland offers. We developed the 20/6 MW stripper, transition guide and running guides to be sold in sets only. ATC doesn't offer the 30/8 guide that is exclusively a product of Castaway. Joe ATC

Hi Roger, We want to make sure that the system we do exhaustive research on, is not compromised. If anyone can send us a set up whether it is a different layout or guide train that out performs what we currently offer we will be glad to make it available. If we are shown a 3mm running guide works better or if the transition guide is not needed we will offer it. We are only interested in perfo

Hi All, By coincidence I was just discussing offering a smaller guide train to a manufacturer today. All our testing to date has indicated the 5mm guide had the widest appeal and the best performance. That is not to say that with other stripper configurations we can't get ideal set ups with a 3mm running guide. Rome wasn't built in a day and we'll get to it sooner rather than later. The tooli

Hi Ken, Yes the transition and running guides will be larger higher, and stronger to handle inshore, offshore Carp and surf fishing. We just hope the new smaller guide trains will be accepted. We've decided to build it not for "tradition" but for performance which requires smaller rings. The smaller guide rings will be stronger than traditional frames of the same size but will not refle

Hi Mo, NanoPlasma #1 NanoLite #2 HyperLite #3 (sp order only) DuraLite #4 Halide #5 All our feet are arrow shaped to prevent pull out which plagues OEM's. Our lightest are the Artus Titan's.

Hi Mo, Have your buddy rub braid around the ID of the rings it is the best way to find a crack. Our TiN depositioned NanoPlasma rings in silver gold and holographic are as slick a ring as you can get and as hard as SiC. It has near 0 coefficient of friction on wet line. You can see a photo of the ring HZSF at the bottom of the first testing document below. The pdfs can be saved to your hard drive

Hi Guys, There is still much debate on offering the guides individually. We discovered with all the testing we've done, it is really easy to screw this up. We thought there would be wild deviations from what we have found to be the best configuration. We have people coming to us saying this system doesn't work and upon further investigation they have changed it. The most common is they di

Hi Jerry, In our experience the breaks occur when the guide gets damaged and then bent back into shape. Not much you can do there especially on a micro guide. We increased the width of the "ankle" when we designed the guide frame and we use an extra strong 316SS. You have to have a balance of strength and weight considerations. The HD's are as strong as you can make them but they ar

Hi Guys, As for the Aero seat Darrin is on that project. In his defense the 17mm prototype came in and all they did was blow it up by 1mm which is the wrong way to do it. We want the palm swell the same size as the 16mm but with larger pockets to accommodate a larger reel. It has been a crazy summer. Darrin had to move all the way from WA to FL last month so he was a bit preoccupied. Now that

Hi All, Here is the Artus HD Micro Guide press release. They're now in stock and they're gorgeous. For those looking for heavier applications or bulletproof durability these micros are for you. You can also mix them with the Artus guides in the lighter frame. They're identical in design but the HD's just utilize a thicker gauge frame. Artus HD The all new Artus HD utilizes a saltwater g

Hi Rodney, I've been asked to do a double foot micro. Why do you need one? Here is the press release on our new Artus HD Micro guide. You might not need a double foot. They come in 3 & 4mm with our Foot Lock design. Hi Jose, We make the finest micro's in the world in my opinion. As you may know the number one micro rod in the world is the Micro Magic made by Boyd Duckett and he chose our guide above all others due to their design. Our Artus and Artus HD's (which just came out), sport our Ring Lock design to keep ring loss at a minimum. They also are contructed of a high guage 316ss or titanium frames

Jessie was truly one of a kind. I remember going to his home. It looked like a rod factory. He had stuff everywhere. A bachelor for sure. He had a ton of creativity and sold a ton of rods. He had lots of great friends that pitched in when he needed them. I was saddened to hear of his passing. Darrin and I were reminiscing. There will never be anyone quite like him. Hi Matt, Boyd designed all his blanks which are built in an Asian factory. They are completely separate from e21. I picked some up at the show and they were outstanding especially the crankbaits. There is talk about offering the blanks which are a mixed High and intermediate modulus. Boyd is not finished tweaking them when he is we hope to have them to offer to custom rodbuilders. We sup

I couldn't believe the wraps she did in her first year. I hope she like the thread. Yes we've heard the cries for braid and trimar. We'll get it in here asap. Joe
