The spring loaded one's just don't work well at all!! with any small dia rod tips!!! Tell them to swap them out!! You can see in this photo the first rod support is slide adjustment the next 2 are spring adjustment, You don't want the spring one's!! They cost

Get the slide adjust and your problems will go away. The spring adjust do not work for small dia rod tapers I would tell them to exchange them if this is a new wrapper!! The worst part is - They don't work and they Know it !!

Minima 3 vs 4, the 3 the insert is single swaged into the frame. Minima 4 guides the insert is double swaged into the frame. Half way down the page Minima guides -------------------------------------------- Whats the rod being set-up for? I believe all the new ones are double swaged, Old stock maybe?? I'm sure someone will chime in and correct me if I'm wrong. Great Guides!! Neve

Take a look the american tackle Microwave Guides, They are known to be great for a spiral wraps, Look at how Fast they choke the line down, And yes you have to large, And to many sizes in your build that are Not needed for a casting rod. Just my 2 cents. --

I do the same as Roger with a nut & washer on each to tighten them up, But I still use a bit of wax on the rod for easy backing out. I use Titebond for my glue-ups, And have had some corrosion on my rods from the water based glue, And this keeps the corrosion in check.

No JOY here on my end. This is what I received with Goggle , The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. And this is what I get with M/S Explorer, The domain getbitoutdoors.com is no longer parked by GoDaddy. Sooo I would say the server is down. Cheers Jaa
