Thanks Chris, Well it really didn't take me long, I had a problem with the threads gapping, which are still there if you really lookhard at it. And for as patience, LOL I don't have any at all but when I sit there in front of a blank its like throw out the window (patience that is) and start wrappping. But really it only took me about week to do it between work and other things going on.

Thanks guys, I will keep that in mind on the color change for sure. Don't get me wrong I like the Gudebrod thread, but there is a lot more colors in the ebroidery world and I wished they would make it in D size, since I build a lot of surfrods, I guess I could double wrap the guides. Hey try going to WALLYWORLD aka WalMart and try it there I buy it in 16oz bottles there its where the fingernail polish is. good luck ,don't know if they have walmat there in the UK. Glen

Thanks to all you helping me out. Well I tried everything and it didn't work, so I am going to pull the last four wraps off and try it again. I'm thinking maybe the thread is twisting and rolling away from the design, I am going to try wrapping it from the other direction and see if that works. Glen

Hello all, Well I have come across a problem with gaps in my thread and I can't seem to close them at all. Would it be cause I wrap the threads too tight. I have not had this problem before. Can someone please help me in this matter Thanks Glen

Well I guess it started when I was about sixteen. I started shark fishing with some friends and they had some custom built rods and I thought that was cool. Now I'm 49nand building custom rods for myself and who ever needs one.
