Thanks Tom, i will go through my issues and look them up. The Riley Rods video on utube bounced around and wasn't in focus, there must be something wrong with how the video was loaded or streamed as I can't follow it.

What is this stuff? Not usual rod wrapping thread…….
A charter captain (freshwater) brought in a half dozen trolling rods that had standard stainless steel wire boat guides. He had run wire line through them and grooved all of the guides.

I’m making a para-cord grip by wrapping the cord spiraling up the blank with edges of cord tight against the last wrap. To secure the cord in place do I; A. Put liquid epoxy on the blank under the wrap? B. leave blank bare and put coat polyurethane over the top of the cord once in place and let dry? C; Other, please explain. This is not to start or end the wrap, just to secure the cord in place

We put the rod upright in a drinking glass, and then hung a weight on the tip top and set it o

Type out a half page on rod care. Make sure you have a detailed description of what high sticking is and how to avoid it. Rod care paperwork goes out with every rod. Once I started sending those flyers home rod breakage went way down. If they pick the rod up in the shop they are SHOWN what high sticking is.
Had a guy buy a graphite UL ice rod. Landed at 45" musky on it. And many more N
