Really ticked off at ups and their incompetence in handling packages had a custom sage 3 piece build for a retired professor I know he requested the best of the best so I completed the rod and had a 3/16wall x 2 inch od aluminum tube machined with threaded end caps so for shipping I placed it in a flannel sock and wraooed that in bl wrap to boot put it in a piece of 3 inch pvc tube and glued o

doesn't have a drive motor or motor mount and is not real good condition you will have to work on it to make it work first. IMHO you would be better off if you purchased a newer model from Renzetti as any of the up grades will definitely fit

THREADMASTER ONE APPLICATION TECHNIQUES THREADMASTER One a water based finish, is different than standard 2 part epoxy finishes. DO NOT USE FLAME IT HAS NO EFFECT ? There is no mixing of this product use it straight out of the bottle ? DO NOT SHAKE OR STIR ? Since this a new product, initial observations showed negligible thread color cha

gees NORM did you miss this part of my response as for working with it you have to use a sponge to apply and the coats are thin so it takes several not just one or two like epoxy also explain how you apply heavy coat of PG or luma seal ? considering the MFG of all the above and TM1 recommend applying thin coats to achieve good results the TM1 is water based and the others are solv

you might want to take a pin and prick a hole near the guide tunnels and hit it with a hair dryer to make it evaporate out faster and then just dab the pinhole with a drop of TM and you will be OK as for working with it you have to use a sponge to apply and the coats are thin so it takes several not just one or two like epoxy threadmaster1 works the same as perma gloss or luma seal so if yo

I am Guessing that you are doing marbling right ? what I have done and do is I use powder jig paint mixed in to the epoxy and never has a issue with it curing and no problems with it not adhering to a properly prepped surface. it doesn't take much of the powder to color the epoxy and because it is dry it doesn't affect the chemical curing process of the epoxy. try it play with it and you will

a lot of what said goes against the physics of epoxy as it produces heat while curing and will take longer to fully cure at warmer temps and longer with colder temps if they are above or below the optimum cure temp recommended from the MFG. my suggestion is to mix as the directions recommend and apply with your choice of tool I prefer a spatula while rotating and go back and check for any bubb

yes you will not find anything close as the tech has changed immensely in relation to action and power of blanks the days of slow action are mostly gone and the parabolic action has been engineered out of a blanks so that there is better line control and increasing casting distance. I get the fact that these are boat rods and in that area they have done the same taken out the slow action/paraboli

Ok you got the paint on and it is fully cured and you want to put a shine to it if I understand you correctly and don't want to destroy the paint with any solvent based sealer /finish so here is what I use to skin that cat I use the threadmaster one finish it is a water based urethane and works like PG and is a tough hard finish with out the harsh chemicals and won't eat the paint best part is
