I have used the pro wrap metallic thread and Im happy with the way it wraps. The only problem I have had is with the blue metallic thread. I triple coated the wraps with preserver and it bleached out in the sun. My blue trim bands are now silver. It happened on two rods and it didn't take long for it to fade. Very strange because the other colors work perfect. Anyone have this happen to them? An

I fish the east coast for striped bass, bluefish, weakfish from the beach and my boat. I like to cast the TFO BVK blanks. They have good lifting power and work great in wind. Most of the time im using intermediate lines with clousers or deceivers. TFO also sells the mangrove series, that I heard work great but I haven't built one yet.
