Yeah! Imported viruses have been killing Americans for 300 years, what's the big deal anyway? Just don't touch your face.

No CP just thread and finish. Tried another spool today from the same batch, same result. At this point it's the thread, whatever the cause. And Anthony, I wasn't calling you out as to the source. lol Could'a been me just as well! So, you want the thread back or what?

Thanks Roger, this wrap's the only thing on the blank so far so not bad to clean up. Washed it with dish soap and water and rinsed it well. I think the thread's going in the garbage. I have a sister spool in a similar color to substitute. Just a funny thing!

Put finish on top layer of a tiger wrap. Pac Bay cobalt blue nylon. Stepped away for 5-6 minutes and when I came back to it spots, flecks, clumps of what I can only assume were blue dye were peppered throughout the wrap. The separation between the top layer threads over a lighter bottom layer made it quite easy to see. Had it been a normal wrap tightly packed I'm not sure it would have been visi

Gary, I've waited 4 months for a Pac Bay reelseat in good times. Who can guess what the effects might be?

Be careful with o-rings, some deteriorate even without exposure to sunlight.

This is one of those you make the call things. Put it where it suits you. There's no prescribed rear grip length.

If you look at it on Mudhole's site there's a pic of how it's meant to be gripped.

Show's how much I know, just bought a heat gun to take a Minima seat off a light blank. Heated the @#$%& out of it, (to the point fearing for the blank) and couldn't budge it. That's the least glue you can possibly use to put a seat on a blank. I wouldn't think of using it to remove old guide finish, tooo hot. Shoud'a got a hair dryer. The seat's staying on, turns out I don't hate as much as I

I think he's getting wind knots, I could be mistaken. Would think braid to be so susceptible to twisting.

After slicing thru the epoxy and thread on top of the guide foot with a razor blade held at a low angle perpendicular to the blank, Heat it up with a hair dryer and you should (might) be able to peel most of it off with your thumbnail.

We get away with smaller ring sizes these days because there are now higher frame guides available as opposed to the old days. Proper ring height allows a smaller ring to be used.

It is caused by the limpness of the braid which allows a crosswind to change the line's path more than it would with mono or floro.

They are Toray graphite. If it's a size 16 seat, check into a Fuji WCS check in size 17. Not saying it'll fit but there's a good chance. They fit a 16 Fuji TVS when used uplocking.
