Not poor thread, just requires the use of color preserver so finish will adhere properly. No translucent wraps.

You can tint Permagloss with the pigment from Testors enamel, saturate a sponge with the mix and wipe it down over the blank very rapidly. It's not a perfect mix but if there's too much pigment in some areas they can be lightly sanded and a top coat of PG applied. I use another moisture curing urethane that doesn'i go off as fast.

First line, top of this page: Custom Rod Builders etc. If you do indeed look to the sponsors on the left first, and can't find the item you need, where's the offense in posting where you did find it? Am I off base here?

I'm not real good, but I am slow. And, I pray to God that one day I learn how to ream a reel seat concentrically. I outdid myself today!

It smells somewhat similar to permagloss, but not as strong, and the odor dissipates very quickly. I store it in he original bottle upside down in a baby food jar (in case of leakage) at room temp. I know for sure it keeps well like that for at least 2 years.

The above being said, I find it curious that while the old Fuji GPS provides a conversion feature the newer KR GPS does not. That was a handy item.

Roger do you know anywhere these can be found in larger size I.D.'s as I mentioned above? Lady at orthodontist office looked at me kinda funny when I told her what I wanted them for. lol

I do as Norman does, but always clean the inside of the broken segments where the glue's going to be with DNA prior to gluing. There can be some nasty stuff on the inside of some blanks (release agent?) Leave a little room for the glue you could split the blank if not careful. (too tight a fit)

Gary, I use 1/8 and 3/16 bands of that type. They can be made tighter by looping it over the tip putting a twist in it and looping it over a second time (figure 8). I prefer the type Roger shows in his 1st link that are also sold by Mudhole. One thing I find annoying though is the fact that I know this type also comes in a size at least twice that of the ones shown but I never see them anywhere.

Revelation Revs 54UL-2 or 62 UL-2. One's a little short, the other a little long. I like the long one.

Well I mix it all wrong and I do get bubbles in the mix, I don't care. I use the dreaded popsicle stick and stir thoroughly in the bottom of a beverage can. Still don't care. I blow thru a soda straw into the mix which releases almost every bubble. After coating I pass over coated areas lightly with a heat gun. 0 bubbles remain. Search function is your friend. Welcome to the forum, hope you can f

If the rod sits, "hangs" in your hand with the tip attitude you prefer, for your comfort, you got it. The weight of most baits used is negligible in my opinion.

Phil, when drop shot fishing, the weight, be it an ounce or a pound, sits on the bottom. So no.

LKW-10, 15.1mm KW-10, 14.6mm in height. 20 - 22" ahead of the reel guide should also be fine. Should come in right around 5 oz.s. Don't hold me to that, lol
