I was told this handle was presented to Dale P. Clemens by the Presedent of the Fuji Corp. back in the 80's.If anyone has seen this handle before or could confirm what was told to me I would appreciate it very much!

Double Diamonds with metalic
thread. I intended to close the wrap but as can be seen the spacing would not allow me
to. I do like it open though.

My rod builders library is down and I don't know if it will be back up or not. A laps in payment to my host caused the original problem but it is how that was handled by them which gives me pause.
I might go to another host but I have not made up my mind yet.
Sorry,,
Also, while I try and check this site regularly, my time isn't like is was and have been quite busy. Have not built any ro

Tried every cutting tool/method heard of and never got it perfect everytime without a fuzzy nub once in awhile.
That is until I fingered out the best way to NOT create one in the first place. Now, one must have a tag at the end of a wrap but it is where you cut it that makes all the difference.
Put your pull loop in very early. Maybe double the turns you are used to put it in. When you comp

Using CP on NCP thread will not change the appearance but will soak in and push air out. This can help keep bubbles down.

If I am not mistaken, NCP thread is regular nylon thread that has been treated with a type of chalk or talcum powder thus it's flat color appearence

As the question would be, as you said, "good to know", I suggest building it with how ever many guides YOU think it should have. Then re-visit the guide train with changes and see if you gain or loose anything. question answered, knowledge gained.

I have quite a few large and small bottles ( maybe 30+) of both the water and solvent based formulas. Note..these are an older formula as I believe Bill updated them slightly some time after the original product release.
I will gladly pass these on to other rodbuilders who email me and we can work out the shipping.

167. Re: missing issue
I have been a subscriber for about 10 years now and only had 1 issue fail to arrive as scheduled and a replacement was sent out ASAP when I let the publisher know I had not got it. The replacement issue arrived then shortly afterward, the original issue came and was all beat up and it appeared that it had gotten lost in the mail delivery truck or something.
No system is perfect but the RMM tra

After some looking into, I'm not able to embed audio or video files. I can place just about any file on the server for folks to download but my storage allotment is limited. Just a few video files would put me at my cap....bummer....looks like links are my best option for videos as the upgraded storage cost is out of the question.

Thanks Jimmy!
There are lots of U-tube videos and or channels I could link to but I try and stay away from to much re-directing to other sites. My site was created at a time before personal media sites became popular for sharing tutorials and videos. The only way we had to share our tutorial files was to let folks know and then email them to any who requested them and of course that usually re

Thanks for the replies guys.
I suppose "losing it's usefulness" was a poor choice of words and I should not be surprised with the lack of time most visitors spend as many are just returning to see if anything new to check out and bouncing out when they find new content.
Eric,
When I first launched the site I did make the effort to get the word spread and sort of market the site. Af

My rodbuilder's tutorial website at www.rodbuildingtutorials.com has been up for about 6yrs now and until recently I really didn't think it was lacking much except for maybe some newer material. I have not added anything new for quite some time now as I have not received any new files to upload.
At one time the site averaged 100+ unique visitors per day with an average time sent per visitor be

Hey Steve,
I got your email from my Library site but it lacked a reply email address. I assume your email has changed or the mail I sent to the address I have went to your junk folder.
To answer your question,, YES I have what you asked about and my email address is the same.

Ok, there are many GREAT rod building tools and gizmos but which one do YOU think you think you could not live without or would cry if it was taken away.
Hands down, mine would be my Flex-Coat slip-clutch. Finish work would not be the same if I did not have one and every rod gets finish so every rod would be impacted.
Other favorites are my Doc Ski weaving jigs, my Wonder Weaver, my and cork

174. Re: Visual Weave
Larry,
Any money spent on software programs or gizmos that will assist with the long and tedious process of creating weaving patterns is money well spent. Creating patterns the "old school" way can take in upwards of a week or more depending on the number of layers, size, and complexity of the completed weave and at times that can be longer and more difficult than actually wrapping

Just like the layout crosses that are on the bottom are inbetween the top crosses so are the side to side crosses inbetween the top AND bottom. Also, remember that when ever you add an axix of patterns to double the number of patterns and you shorten the overall distance between patterns by 50%.
Example....
Say you have 8 patterns on top and bottom then you add patterns on the sides you will
