Copy right varies greatly from country to country I was a photographer before cancer and my stuff is covered for 50yrs and is also passed down to my heirs should I kick it. Aussie law is similar to USA law so anything +50yrs should be fair game which means prior to 1962 currently.
This is only from memory and regarding photographs there is also a difference when it comes to the reason for t

Thanks Col,
Yeah I looked at Rodworks they look pretty ok and they carry matagi grips which is what I'm looking at for my next build. So far I'm very happy with the mhx high mod blank it feels great and was cheaper by far than a samari The samaris that the local shop carries are really floppy but he only has a couple in stock and not the premium blanks. I like the look of the north fork blanks

Wow thanks very much for taking the time to pen that post Col appreciate it. Good to see an aussie looks to me that rod building is not as big here as it used to be I cant find anything online that comes close to mudhole or the other larger USA companies and prices seem really jacked up here.
Luckily the dollars ok at the moment and freight companies are getting better all the time.

I'm doing my first build on a mhx high mod blank which is polished and not painted, are you guys saying here to put epoxy on the blank first let it dry then the decal on top of the epoxy layer then more epoxy? Do you rub back the first coat then apply the labell?
Cheers

189. Re: Great service!!
Hi I'm a newbie,
Building my first rod tomorrow, I'll second that mudhole compliment with no problems at all it took 6 days to get from florida to country NSW Australia, pretty impressive and they were really good to deal with on the phone nothing was a problem to them. Great Service.
Now I just have to do the build, a little nervous but excited aswell.
Cheers
